As coiled tubing continues to evolve toward larger diameters, thicker walls, and higher strength levels, the challenge extends beyond the product itself—it tests the overall capability of the entire manufacturing system.

Recently, Jason Energy successfully completed the manufacturing of its RC-110 Relia Coiled Tubing (3.500" × 0.204" × 2,800 m), marking another advancement in large-diameter coiled tubing manufacturing capability.

Every Increase in Specification Represents an Upgrade in Capability

For coiled tubing manufacturing:

Larger diameter requires greater forming force capacity;

Thicker wall design creates higher resistance during material deformation;

Higher-strength steel grades require tighter process control windows.

When these three factors come together, they place significantly higher demands on equipment load capacity, process stability, and overall manufacturing control.

During continuous forming, manufacturers must overcome greater material springback, higher forming loads, and more complex welding control challenges. Even minor variations can impact final product performance.

This is not simply an increase in product dimensions—it represents a comprehensive challenge to the entire manufacturing system.

Challenging Equipment Limits, Demonstrating Manufacturing Capability

Facing the combined challenges of large diameter, thick wall, and high strength, Jason Energy’s manufacturing team continuously optimized process solutions and conducted repeated verification and adjustments of equipment operating parameters.

From forming and welding to heat treatment, every stage was carefully controlled to ensure consistent performance throughout the full continuous length.

Ultimately, the RC110 3.500" × 0.204" × 2,800 m Grain Steel Coiled Tubing was successfully manufactured and completed production.

This achievement not only validates the load-bearing capability of Jason Energy’s production system but also demonstrates the company’s manufacturing expertise in high-specification coiled tubing.

Jason Energy Relia Coiled Tubing

Jason Energy Relia Coiled Tubing is a new generation of low-carbon alloy steel heat-treated coiled tubing designed for high-pressure, ultra-high-pressure, and other complex well conditions.

Compared with conventional coiled tubing of the same grade, it delivers comprehensive improvements in three key performance areas:

● Enhanced fatigue life

● Superior erosion and wear resistance

● Improved resistance to corrosive environments

These improvements significantly enhance operational reliability and safety in challenging applications.

Taking RC-110 Relia Coiled Tubing as an example, its fatigue life can reach more than 1.5 times that of conventional TS-110 coiled tubing, effectively extending service life, improving operational efficiency, reducing overall operating costs, and creating long-term economic value for customers.

Continuing to Break Through Higher Specifications

From conventional specifications to large-diameter solutions, and from standard applications to complex operating environments, Jason Energy continues to drive product advancement through technological innovation.

Behind every specification breakthrough is the collective effort of our R&D, process engineering, equipment, and quality teams.

Behind every successful production milestone is our continuous commitment to product reliability.

Moving forward, Jason Energy will continue to focus on the development and manufacturing of high-performance coiled tubing, challenging larger diameters, longer lengths, and higher-performance grades to provide more reliable solutions for global oil and gas customers.
