    Impact on Coiled Tubing Life

    ——

    · Mechanical damage on the outer surface of coiled tubing will cause a huge fatigue life decrease

    · In same depth, a horizontal damage will have more effect on fatigue life than vertical damage

  • Tensile Test under High Temperature

    ——

The strength of tube continuously reduces as temperature increases, but there are not big changes when the temperature is 300℃ below. However, a quick drop of strength was found with the temperature above 400℃.

  • Corrosion Test

    ——

    · H2S Corrosion Test in Simulated Working Conditions

    · Sulfide Stress Corrosion Cracking Test (SSC)

    · Hydrogen-Induced Cracking Test (HIC)

    · Electrochemistry Corrosion test

    · Chlorides Corrosion Test

    · Concentrated Gydrochloric Acid Test

    · CO2 Corrosion Test

Based on continuous research on corrosion, JASON is capable of providing technical data of difference corrosion well conditions for our customer to help them optimize operating design. JASON is also dedicated to improving capability of anti-corrosion for coiled tubing.

  • Abrasion test during sand blasting

    ——

Simulate abrasion on the tube while sand blasting fracturing operation.

  • Burst test

    ——

Get maximum bursting pressure through explosion bulge test.

  • SSRT(Slow Strain Rate Test) (Introduction)

    ——

The sample is slowly stretched in air and in a hydrogen sulfide corrosion medium until it breaks, and the elongation is calculated to determine the stress corrosion sensitivity coefficient F(δ). The smaller the F(δ), the more resistant the material to stress corrosion and the better the cracking ability.

F(δ)=( δ0-δ)/ δ0×100%; δ0 and δ are respectively the elongation of the sample in the air and the elongation in the corrosive medium.
